… which also shows off the side panel profile which had intrigued the Red Dot design judges. We also see that with the taller casing, certain capacitors which lay flat before now stand up. New are the small heatsinks which hide the next-gen Ensence modules. The AMP-13R's JET-Satri equivalents still tucked under orange plastic slivers.

What the AMP-23R loses aside from the precursor's red-lacquered knob is the machined-from-solid construction with the internal partitions. But the family semblance is loud and clear. This apple didn't fall far from the tree. By mounting the output transistors directly to the top plate coupled to the scalloped sides, the entire chassis becomes the heatsink again.
