Neutral honesty across the bandwidth won't gloss over anything but also doesn't exaggerate nor swallow up micro detail.
Articulate never strenuous treble leaves nothing to be desired in the HF. Neither does linearity which follows through all the way into the brilliance and air regions.
Clear, easily intelligible and tonally neutral mids. The HP-10 reproduces this important range without spectacle so ideally balanced.
Bass may initially register as slim but in reality is unusually taut and agile to descend into the bassment without any kick-drum hump.

The power reserves are amazing. The volume can be turned up high without distortion or compression as long as our headphones are up for it.
High SPL are achievable even with hungry loads whilst extremely efficient in-ears will experience limitations trying to play very softly.
Excellent sustain, well-damped bass drums, nicely clean hi-hats.
The default stage perspective is quite broad but not exceptionally deep. Crossfeed gets narrower but deeper, gives up some image lock but reliably combats in-skull focus.
A plethora of tuning options allow individually selectable profiles with grouped adjustments.
