Less Zahlen for Zähl? – With the new H1 [€7'739] we do pay €2'200 less yet are promised sonics identical to the flagship HM1. What gives? Cancellation of features. Say sayonara to treble/bass EQ, A/B switchable/mixable inputs and preamplitude. The pared-down H1 just keeps RCA and XLR inputs plus XLR4, 6.3mm and 4.4mm outputs. Purist will say good riddance and pocket the difference.
