Wattson Audio Madison Amp

Mini CHamp – As the first new product past Wattson's acquisition by CH Precision, the new fully balanced Madison amplifier [$6'500] has stout design DNA despite living in a svelte though deep milled-from-solid enclosure. It's a low-feedback 50wpc bridgeable class AB affair with bi-amp mode and a single pair of bipolar outputs per channel. 2Ω power is 100wpc. S/NR is a high 120dB. The external 350-watt power supply is a 36VDC switch-mode affair. Inputs are on selectable RCA or XLR. Seeing how the press release makes no mention of higher mono power, perhaps that doesn't actually increase but the power supply gets dedicated to a single channel for more peak headroom; or impedance drops for higher current flow?
