W22 – Celebrating 22 years in business, the Boenicke Audio W22 will become a limited edition flagship when it migrates from digital render to physical analogue later this year. The concept is that of a 3-driver 2-way with front-firing Audax dome tweeter on a half bronze sphere augmented by a rear-firing ambient tweeter; and an 11.2" Supravox mid/woofer for claimed response to 33Hz. Enclosure material will be acetylated accoya for its dimensional stability relative to the speaker's size. Solid-wood side panels will be at the customer's specification. Efficiency is expected to be ~95dB.
