Collab N°2 – Not content to rest on his laurels lest they wilt, Vinshine Audio's Alvin Chee has released his second collaborative project, this time with LHY Audio. The result is the SW-10Pro network switch, LAN isolator and reclocker [SGD $2'649 intro price] with 2.5GHz and 1GHz zones each with its own SPF fibre-optic module aside from RJ45 ports plus two 10MHz square-wave clock outputs. Dual 50VA Noratel toroidal transformers of the linear power supply feed 18 x ultra low-noise regulators and the oven-controlled oscillator is an SC-cut type. The black or silver enclosure is milled from solid and the device weighs a robust 5.5kg.
