Bulgaria's DHT preamp – From Thrax comes Lybra [€50'000], a two-box balanced 300B preamplifier with independently gain-adjustable outputs like Supratek's Dual Cabernet to accommodate bi-amping with different amplifiers. There's also a fully balanced tape loop to support ambitious reel-to-reel machines, an outboard dual-mono power supply, auto bias and full microprocessor control with an LCD display. As to whether the 300B couple via transformers or capacitors, they use "chokes and capacitors" as Boyan Donchev replied via short note from his engineers.
