Stack attack – The British resonance busters of Stack Audio are at it again with their new Auva SW aimed specifically at subwoofer isolation [£270/4 ex VAT]. This device combines a particle-filled chamber on top with a viscoelastic sleeve inside the hollow aluminium barrel. Like all spring systems, proper load compliance is a must so six different versions handle incremental weight ratings up to 56kg/4. There are thread adapters to bolt the Auva SW to subwoofers; or flat-disc couplers.
