From platitude to real form – It's Stack Audio's new AUVA platform which ships with four quads of weight-rated and micro height-adjustable silicone absorber feet to support varying loads. The platform itself conceals 35 honey-comb cells filled with a custom particle compound for more dissipation effectiveness of mechanical energies. Exploiting viscoelastic decoupling and particle energy exhaustion in one design makes it a hybrid multi-stage design. The platform measures 45x38cm WxD and is just 3.4cm thick. It weighs 9kg and combines machined aluminium end plates with a central high-density moisture-resistant fibre layer behind wood veneer.
