Raal 1995 Immanis – This forthcoming triple-ribbon headphone from new brand Raal 1995 owned wholly by Aleksandar Radisavljevic will be an easier load than current Raal-Requisite versions. That's because impedance is higher. Alex promises that existing amps made for true ribbon headphones will all work fine and in fact have redundant gain. Besides adding surface area, the three-part diaphragm embeds complimentary tuning where one section compensates another's response variation for smoother summing at the ear. More will reveal with a February 1st online product launch. Suffice to say for now that Raal 1995 looks focused on statement-level product while Alex calls his new Immanis "the most complicated headphone ever". Are we intrigued yet?
