Turbo or eco drive? iFi Audio leaves that to us with their new Micro iDSD Signature [€699] portable headamp/DAC. Capable of 4.1wpc, there's a 6.3mm output, new 4.4mm balanced output plus an RCA/Toslink combo and OTG-USB input. There's also an analog RCA output to serve as standalone converter. The company's XBass and 3D modes factor as do two interleaved BurrBrown chips for two differential signals per channel. Data compliance is up to 32/768 PCM, DSD512 and MQA. Turbo, normal and eco mode generate different gain and power consumption modes and the internal battery is said to support 6-12 hours of play depending on mode and load.
