Elemental – Merrill Audio's new Element 110 mono amplifier [$12.5K] promises 150w/8Ω and 600w/2Ω from a fast-switching GaNFet class D output stage that produces 23dB of voltage gain and 100dB of S/NR. A 7" touch screen display incorporates a power meter. Isoacoustics Gaia III isolators are standard and a 20A Furutech Rhodium IEC promises a better AC connection than the ubiquitous 15V versions. The amp's footprint is a 22" square, height is 10", weight is 35lbs. A single XLR and pair of WBT 0710 CuMc speaker terminals complete the back panel.
