McAttack – Packaged as a stereo 3-way affair, the McIntosh R250 [€3'480] combines 20mm tweeters with dual 50mm mids plus a downfiring sub-275Hz woofer per channel fronted by a total of 650 watts. There's Roon Readiness, AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify/Tidal Connect, aptX HD Bluetooth and the firm's signature VU meters. There's an MM phono stage, a 3.5mm stereo Aux input, a mono subwoofer out, LAN, Toslink and HDMI ARC. At 13kg, this is no Bose table radio so something even a McMansion could embrace.
