30th anniversary model – LinnenberG's forthcoming ES30 mono promises kilowatt output into 2Ω and 250w into 8Ω. Its 1.5kW power supply drives two amplifiers for fully symmetrical operation whilst a third amplifier handles the virtual ground "to relieve that of carrying the speaker return currents". Doing the heavy lifting are 24 x 15A/200W bipolar transistors plus 6 x 25A bipolars for the virtual ground amplifier. Just so, S/NR is a whopping 127dB(A) with 0.001% THD+N enclosed in a 26x21x40cm WxHxD enclosure available in various RAL colours. This mono-amp model also has the VV30 preamp and PH30 phonostage mates as the respective best efforts of Ivo Linnenberg celebrating three decades in business.
