Following requests, designer Mr. Liu adds remote-activated pre-outs and an HT bypass input to allow one to run the integrated as either a preamp, a power amp or an integrated with pre-outs like to a subwoofer or to biamp. A revised remote control adds the necessary new buttons. There are also a few internal parts upgrades. The '+' version will coexist with the original model; and existing owners with a domestic distributor can have a conversion kit installed to turn their current EX-M1 into an EX-M1+.
