Mondo Phonecian find – Hello Gold Note PH-1000 [€6'900], the Florentine firm's new flagship MM/MC phono stage with optional upgrade path of external inductive power supply and/or tube driver stage. Three independent inputs including one floating balanced team up with RCA/XLR outputs. There's 12-stage switchable resistance with fine trim plus selectable input capacitance across six values. Ten stereo and two mono EQ curves offer perfect replay for LP from different labels and eras. A selectable 10Hz subsonic high-pass offers 36dB filter steepness. A TFT display and multi-function turn/push control knob can even display individual EQ curves. The machine is available in silver, champagne-gold and black.
