Now there is Diretta, a new transmission host/target protocol that's already hardware-implanted in gear by fidata, Luxman, Olio.spec, Sforzato Corp. and SPEC. The licensed Diretta Target USB bridge [€499] works for any x64 PC and delivers on a USB memory stick. The advantage of Diretta is said to be lower transmission noise for a cleaner signal.
