D'arce choke – It's the Denafrips Arce, their first entry into the streamer world. Like a BJJ aka Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu stranglehold, it hopes to sleep the competition. It has dual BNC clock inputs to sync to one of the company's own external masterclocks or the two top Terminator DACs; coax, Toslink, AES/EBU and I²S-over-HDMI outputs plus an SD card slot, RJ45 network input and two USB host ports. No WiFi. The streamer module isn't OEM but a Denafrips design including their own OS. With Roon Ready pending, it already packs Roon Bridge, HQPlayer NNA, Airplay and DLNA. Tidal, Spotify Connect, Qobuz and possibly even Apple Music are on the roadmap for future firmware updates. The chassis size is identical to an Ares DAC and finish options are black and silver.
