Blast from my past – On the subject of gainful employment hence fully working voodoo, the LessLoss Firewall for Loudspeakers raises its hands with two thumbs up. I know of two designer/engineers other than the inventor who can explain exactly how it works. I know of two other designers—Sven Boenicke and Martin Gateley—who simply build them into their loudspeakers, cab closed. The skin-filtering tech at the heart of much LessLoss product plainly works. Whether one wants its effect and how much of it is a matter of taste. I still use my set. Another works invisibly on my wife's desktop in her sound|kaos Vox3a monitor speakers. It's that experience and other trials of related product from this Lithuanian brand which force my mind to remain open even for their Blackbody and Giant Steps which would otherwise cause raised eyebrows. Tweaks make for quite the volatile minefield. But discounting the lot just because some do exploit the gullible is premature. At least that's been my MO even if I too have my limits on what I'll let through the door. But LessLoss certainly have a key to it.
