Transformers + DC blocking – Estonia's Audes flesh out their line of isolation-transformer AC filters with the TT-1700 DC [€5.3K] and TT-3200 DC [€6.5K]. The nomenclature reflects the total VA ratings. Each model uses a small 200VA transformer for four source/low-level components; and a big one making up the rating's difference for four high-current components. That nets eight outlets per device whose soft-start function avoids in-rush current transients. Big iron obviously weighs heavy, hence these boxes hit 30kg and 37kg respectively. The DC blockers eliminate transformer hum.
