Streaming service the Nagra way – The new Streamer [$4'950] from the legendary Swiss brand is the size of their famous Nagra VII digital recorder. "The chassis of the Streamer is compact yet massive and precisely CNC machined from a solid billet of aluminium. It is rugged and rigid. It was designed to be as large as necessary but no larger. This footprint allows it to be installed close to your IT equipment and connect to your DAC via long optical cable." The Streamer includes Tidal Connect, Spotify Connect, Qobuz via mConnect, vTuner, Airplay 2, UPnP/dlna for local files and Roon Ready is coming. Connectivity includes S/PDIF, fibre-optics, RJ45 and USB. The power supply is external and can be swapped for a Nagra ACPS, MPS or Classic 12V PSU. And look ma, a Nagra without modulometer!
