Shanling's new SCD1.3 – It's a slot-loading SA/CD player [€1'279] with AK4499EX DAC, optical, coax and XMOS XU316 USB digital inputs, I²S over HDMI, coax and Toslink digital outputs, RCA/XLR analog outputs, a front-panel USB host input, 3.5mm headfi via TPA6120 driver, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi for DLNA, Airplay and NAS plus PCM 768 and DSD512 data compliance. There's even a Muses 8920 buffered volume control. The 5" touch screen controls an Ingenic X2000 processor and menu structure. Besides a companion app for iOS and Android, there's also a physical IR remote. The digital output of SACD converts to 88.2kHz PCM. Max output level is 2.5Vrms, output impedance 4.7Ω.
