Hey Srajan, I wondered whether you knew what has happened to Denafrips? For many years they seemed to be real press darlings and your team and many others covered them regularly and with fanfare. But suddenly things in the audio press have seemingly gone dark on the brand and I thought to ask whether you knew anything about it. Cheers, Francis
I never dealt with Denafrips directly. I always interfaced with their global ambassador and retailer at the time, Alvin Chee of Vinshine Audio. All I know is that a few years ago, Denafrips scaled up production by moving into a much larger factory to presumably need higher turnovers to keep all the new employees busy. Why they decided to part ways with Vinshine Audio I don't know. I never asked Alvin since it's none of my business; and he never said. I assume that Denafrips believed that they could generate more volume than Vinshine did by opening up new distribution channels. But I haven't followed any of it since and nobody from Denafrips has been in touch to ask for a review or any other form of coverage. So I really don't know what the brand's current status is, sorry. But I would agree that it's been quiet about them so perhaps their outreach to press and reviewers has changed and/or 6moons is no longer on their list. Srajan
