Srajan, I just caught up on your onfolding Quanteen story and saw the photos of your main system. You apparently just reshuffled its amp stands. Question: the tall one in the middle doesn't look exactly like the usual Artesanía uprights. How did you manage that elevation? Thank you, Martin
Ah, Martin Eagle Eye. Very observant of you. Those four columnar uprights are from my upstairs Hifistay four-tier rack which long ago I split into 2 x two-tier blocks. That left me with four spare uprights which I repurposed downstairs. I wanted the Kinki/Vinshine amp more visible so it'd sit above the subwoofer rather than hide behind it; or in its wind shadow to its right as was the case before. This was a perfect solution. Hifi legos. You're never too old to play. You just need a good assortment of parts to mix 'n' match. After 24 years on the beat, I've got a decent inventory. Once it gets out of hand, I'll have another one of my usual giveaways. Srajan
