Rad Raidho raid on the bassment. Applying 10µm diamond coats to ceramic 8" and 10" drivers, the TD8 (dual 8" actives, dual 10" passive radiators, €17/19K black/Walnut) and TD10 (dual 10" actives, 4 x 10" passive radiators, €23/25K) arrive with serious audiophile ambitions. 500-watt Ncore power shakes hands with PC-based DSP adjustments of just 3-4ms latency and RCA/XLR inputs. Underhung voice coils on Raidho's new woofers further up the ante on control and precision promise. These models clearly don't aim at THX-style bass bullying but the necessary speed and accuracy to build out a dedicated music system's LF reach of Raido pedigree. In fact, the very same diamond-sanctified 10" woofers appear in the company's latest flagship speaker, the €120/135K/pr TD3.10, a 3-way with planar-magnetic thin-film tweeter and dual 5¼" mids. To the standalone but still stackable subs, I say welcome to fancy sub.urbia!
