Country of Origin
With millions of music tracks at our daily beck 'n' call, off the cloud like sweet rain on demand, here are a few which I recently cued up for an inner journey to elsewhere. We start with a track from the album Karantina Günlügü featuring Hayko Cepkin on vocals/keyboard and Burak Malcok on ney.
We follow up with Burak's new "Rebirth" track.
This segues smoothly into Sedef Erçetin's "The sense" from the short Miles twofer with Serkan Alkan.
We follow this with the track "Equanimity" from Yuval Ron's album Four Divine States of Mind here with Uyanga Bold on lead vocals.
To return to the world, we flow with "Bolero Triste" from Matthieu Saglio's album El Camino de los Vientos.
Next comes Dorantes with "V2 la búsqueda" from his new album La roda del viento.
This leads us to José Antonio Rodgríuez and Jorge Strunz with "Catalina's Song" from José's album McCadden Place.
Antonio Rey's Flamenco Sin Fronteras album is next with "Un sueño contigo alma".
Getting properly sauced requires heading for south of the border with Diego El Cigala, to México and "Verdad Amarga".
In another Latin mood is Eddie Daniels' blackwood on Night Kisses: A Tribute to Ivan Lins with "Velas Içadas".
Now we join Haris Alexiou & Yamin Levy in "This shadow".
Moving far deeper into mysterious shadows is Mahsa Vahdat with "Ney Davoud" from her Enlighten the night album.
To conclude, we fly with Mercan Dede above Turkey's famous cave dwellings in a hot-air balloon with "Kapadokya".
