That was Alvin Chee of Vinshine Audio, following up my three Kinki Studio reviews penned across July/August this year. With designer Liu's monos not yet publicized, I just had to ask. "250Wrms into 8Ω, twice that at instantaneous burst power. Max voltage swing 84V. Max output current 20A. Dual Amplimo power transformers. Four pairs of Exicon lateral Mosfets backed up by copious Vishay BC power reservoir caps. Price per pair? 25% more than the EX-M1 integrated."

A fly on the wall could have heard a needle drop, then the penny. And a very pretty penny it was.
