From Z to Z – That's Børresen's new four-deep Z speaker range from the Z1 stand mount to the just launched Z5 flagship tower. The company call that "a huge 2½ way floorstander with ribbon tweeter, two mid/woofers and four 8" woofers. The magnet system in the Z range is brand new. After the invention of our patented iron-free driver system in the 0 Series, we came to realize that it is possible to reduce induction to an amazing 0.04mH, about 10 x lower than common. The challenge for the Z range was to design a similar but less costly driver system also with significantly reduced induction. The result is a dynamic driver with only 0.06mH."
