Phono classics – Nagra's Classic Phono [$19'750] aims to become one in due time and for it harnesses 2 x 6922 and one each B739 and B759 as active devices. Custom Nagra 1:16 ratio transformers help generate up to 64dB of voltage gain for MC whilst MM is switchable between 8 and 48dB of gain. RIAA compensation is available standard and with Teldec and Columbia curves. A mono selector supports mono records made with a stereo cutter. The built-in 100-240V 50/60Hz power supply can be upgraded with the external Classic PSU.
