Enter the Vortex – It's not the Matrix but Solaja Audio's new VM-1a amplifier successor, the pure pentode Vortex delivering 12.5wpc/8Ω power into headphones and loudspeakers. A pair of EL34 are the phase splitters, two more pairs the outputs. There are two RCA inputs and one XLR. The global voltage adjuster is external right next to the fused power inlet. Aside from the 6.3mm headfi port, there is a special XLR4 output for the original open-baffle Raal-Requisite headphones with built-in baffle-step correction.
