From Melco to Dela in 0.01s? – It's not a quantum race but name change. Japanese hifi brand Melco, a subsidiary of the entertainment group Buffalo Inc, now goes by Dela to form a more audio-centric brand identity. In Japanese 'dela' means 'extreme' and had already been in use for the most premium segment of Melco's catalogue. This corporate rebranding has no impact on pricing but in the existing catalogue the S100 network switch discontinued and the D100 transport is henceforth available in black only. Around the pike is new Dela ware already, two network switches in fact. Dela-vu all over again?
