Playwatch – You can with Eversolo's new Play [€699], a streaming amp with optional CD transport which then adds €100 to the bill. It packs an AK4493 DAC, 60/110wpc into 8/4Ω class D power and fluency in Tidal/Connect, Roon Ready, Qobuz, Amazon Music, Deezer and Tuneln Internet radio. The business end offers ARC, coax/Toslink in, RJ45 LAN, 2 x USB 3.0, coax out plus one line-level and phono input each plus a mono subwoofer out. There's support for UPnP, WebDAV, multi-room controlled by central app and room correction via smartphone or external USB mic. The uni-body chassis is aluminium with integrated heat sink and the 5.5" touch screen accesses the menu segregated into streaming clients, functions, apps, connect, cloud and settings.
