Now we're moving upstairs to the assembly hall where different workers fabricate the point-to-point wired sub assemblies, mount the connectors, test and match capacitors, wind transformers, repair equipment, test equipment on the scope and over high-efficiency speakers for noise and perform final polishing. This floor also contains the burn-in racks for finalized products and tubes.
All workers wear white Melody aprons or shirts and the facility is immaculately clean and well ventilated and lit.
Melody now manufactures its own RCA sockets and speaker binding posts.
The new CD 10 MkII players are recognizable by their rounded corners on the face plate.
