Mystère is a prime example of a successful Sino/European collaboration. Built by Melody in China whose own distribution errors have utterly undermined the brand's credibility in the West, Mystère is marketed by the same people who launched the PrimaLuna brand. With product that's probably more similar to Melody than just in appearance, the brand equity of Mystère in Europe and America is far higher than Melody's - primarily because of tightly regulated distribution and first-class service support. Success for products goes well beyond the products themselves. It's a lesson newcomers to the game should heed well to save themselves teething pains.
