Rocky Mountain Audio Fest 2005!
It's a wrap - RMAF 2005 is a go. Enough exhibitors have pledged their support to make this centrally located consumer show happen again. Alan Stiefel of Red Rock Audio sent the following press release to all year 2004 exhibitors:

"After much soul searching, we have decided to create RMAF 2005. The dates are: move-in on Thursday, September 29; show on Sept. 30, October 1 and 2, 2005. I will be the show director again with the assistance of my wife, Marjorie. Ron Welborne will help out with marketing and advice. Art Tedeschi will automate the input forms and processes to make it easier for everyone. He and Marjorie will revamp the website to accommodate these improvements. The volunteers have enthusiastically signed up for another show.

We have decided not to take reservations until February 1, 2005 so we have time to incorporate these improvements. All 2004 exhibitors will have first sign-up rights. Those who took a chance with us in our first show, a big thanks. Please be prepared to make a commitment in the first and second week of February as we will open the show to the audio community at large February 15, 2005.

I would like to clarify the exhibitor room rates. The rates listed below include hotel charges and furniture removal for your exhibit room(s). Your only other costs would be food and beverage and telephone. You must reserve your sleeping room which will be billed directly to your credit card.
  • Exhibitor room rates: $1500/$1,750 pre/post 3/31/05 registration date respectively
  • Additional rooms - $1,300/1,550
  • Suites/Conference Room (may vary according to size) - $2,900/$3,300
  • Vendor booths on the main lobby floor in the Columbine Center $150 for 3' x 6' / $300 for 10' x 10' / $400 for 10' x 20' for whole weekend respectively

We have contracted with the hotel for the large exhibition hall, the Columbine Center. This area will be a combination of vendor area, food service with tables and chairs for people to relax, and live music during the show hours. We have received offers of help from several exhibitors on show promotion and welcome any and all suggestions on how to promote and improve the show.

Thanks again for your support and we look forward to seeing you again next year."
