HD en Suisse – With smaller brick rooms, standard ported floorstanders designed for bigger but lossy US dry-wall rooms don't work properly. That's why the 42kg Ouverture [CH 17'800/pr] from Swiss HD was designed for Swiss-style rooms and to work close against the front wall. It's a sealed bipole 91dB 4Ω floorstander of just 23 x 118 x 35cm WxHxD. As a 3-way concept it has Rowen's 1×1.9cm air-motion transformer cover 1kHz to 28kHz, twin 16cm mid/woofers 150Hz to 1'000Hz and up/down-opposing 20cm woofers the bass.
