Crecendo Duo – Named like an audiophile sequel to John Steinbeck's East of Eden, Sound of Eden does go East to Latvia to produce their Crescendo Duo [€3'500/pr], a 2.5-way speaker with twin oval rear-firing passive radiators, SB Acoustics 6" mid/woofers and 1" tweeter. There are Mundorf filter parts, Jantzen terminals, a claimed 28Hz-30'000Hz response and sensitivity of 88dB. Regular correspondent Dawid Grzyb in Warsaw has the review.
