Standing art – That's Gryphon's new modular StandArt hifi furniture. Each shelf consists of a 3-layer sandwich of Kerrock® upper (an engineered stone of polymethyl methacrylate and 2/3rds natural minerals), compressed high-density MDF bottom and central layer of viscous bitumen for mechanical damping. The upright aluminium columns come in 548, 800 and 1124mm lengths and are filled with a custom sand blend. Gryphon's Black Spike ST becomes the floor interface. The amp stand shown retails at €2'900, the double-wide 4-tier for €8'950, the four-tier tall for €8'800.
