2 more – It's FiiO's new R9 [€1.5K] which doubles the existing R7's output power to 7.3wpc into 32Ω, goes to dual 8-channel ESS 9038Pro converters, adds an HDMI ARC output, ups display size and resolution to 1'080 x 2'160, uprates the enclosure build but still runs on the same customized Android 10 OS though an eventual overwrite to Android 12 is in the wind. USB decoding now is via 16-core XMOS XU316 and the internal SMPS has scaled up to 40W so with a now 15V DC option up from the R7's 12V. Black and white colour choices remain.
