Blast from my past – Lloyd Walker is sadly no longer with us. But his cunningly named Velocitor S passive AC distributor I crossed paths with in 2005 was instrumental in putting me on the passive not active track for power delivery. I toyed with isolation transformers à la BPT and sundry active filters but in general still rely on passive outlet multipliers. Today mine are mostly from Furutech preceded by Furutech or LessLoss power cords. The 'why' embeds in Lloyd's velocitor witticism. The passive distributor types are energizers and accelerators not dampers or noise killers. Leave it to Lloyd for initiating me. Or as he put it, "how do you keep an erection? Don't eff with it."
