The cat with nine lives – Chris Sommovigo's cable products have seen many incarnations and brandings. When he unexpectedly passed away, many wondered whether the cables had met their 9th life. That's because his production methods relied on custom machinery and complex not fully documented processes. Yet now his wife Mayu announces that production of Black Cat Cable resumed. Retail partners Chris Hildebrand of Fern & Roby, Doug White of The Voice That Is, Edmund Monk of Cornerstone Audio and Mike Kay of Audio Archon are lined up to support the brand. A new cable engineer on the team can now also handle any required termination repairs on previous Sommovigo designs. So go visit their new website to meet the next generation of Black Cat cables.
