Hello Srajan, I saw that Vladimir Katz of OnFilter doesn't believe in DC filtering and blames sub-par transformer design or manufacture should we suffer related hum issues. Seeing how you and I have experience with DC filters which effectively kill such hum, this seems to me a surprisingly narrow-minded attitude from a man who says he wants to enter our hifi sector and serve us better. It certainly had me think that he is starting off on the wrong foot and in full public view at that. What do you make of it? Looking forward to how this review will unfold. Charlie
I was surprised and amused because he already admitted to thinking his EMI filter should have no sonic effect yet heard one for himself at the show. He certainly seems open to learning whilst simultaneously confessing to ambivalence and struggling with what he calls irrational audiophile myths. So I too am curious about what I'll think of his EMI filter with built-in surge protection when it gets here. It's just been dispatched. Srajan
