| Egli, Fischer & Co. AG nearly brought their entire Zürich store or so it seemed. They showed two systems anchored by Burmester speakers. Alas the young gent manning this exhibit was so bored and absent already two hours into the first day that this devolved into an unmanned static display for all intents and purposes. Two thumbs up for concept, two thumbs down for execution. |

A big room, expensive name-brand gear, good seating, nobody present, with the exhibitor's representative tongue-tied, abysmally shy, bored to tears, not giving a shit or simply clocking time... it was a shame to not learn more about what they had here. So we let the pictures do the walking and talking. |

The smallest CHF 860 Chordette DAC was cute as the dickens, its ONE CD mate [CHF 7.500] nearly solid mill work. Heavy metal, this UK Chord kit. Or is that power chord? |

This room had no shortage of statement digital. The Nagra whose tray slides out with the entire display and transport assembly including puck was a sight to behold. Swiss-style mechanical engineering can be unglaublich impressive. |
