It was Christine Han of April Music. She apologized for being late getting back. I'd had some tech questions for engineering about an upcoming review of their new 500 Series CD player and integrated. Had 6moons covered the just concluded hifi show in Hong Kong? We had not. In fact, our man Linnman stationed there had to resign. A new baby boy keeps him too busy to spend time writing about hifi. Christine however had just returned from the show. For entertainment, she e-mailed me a few of her photos. They were taken on the quick. Her job as marketing manager of April Music had her very busy in their exhibit.


This isn't one of our usual formal show reports then. Rather, it is an ultra brief no-words reminder that the show must go on, Western press attendance be damned. This hobby is international. Fellow music lovers from around the globe partake from it. Shows are always good reminders. And many of us cave-dwelling audiophiles could stand the occasional reminder that's there's life outside our carefully tweaked rooms, with components and systems that pursue completely different flavors and ideals, owned by folks who simply enjoy without taking it all too serious or getting defensive if our preferences and their tastes don't align...
