Emillé Labs from South Korea introduces three new models and will exhibit them in two active systems at HighEnd 2009 in Munich. System n°1 will show the new Emillé Quintessence preamplifier, the KM-300SE power amp, the new Allure phono preamp and for non-Emillé ancillaries, Dr Feickert Analogue's Twin Black turntable, AMR's CD 77 and Rethm's Saadhana loudspeakers. System n°2 will show Emillé's new Cha'am integrated amplifier, the Emillé Allure phono preamp and for partners, another Dr Feickert Analogue Twin Black turntable, another AMR CD 77 and the French Triangle Electroacoustique Cello loudspeakers.

The new Cha'am is a 3-input remote (power, input, volume, mute) dual-mono integrated amplifier with 70 watts per channel generated by 4 x 6550s (fixed bias adjusted via front meter), 6 x 6350 and 2 x 6DJ8. Input sensitivity is 0.2V RMS, frequency response 10Hz to 30kHz +/-1dB and power consumption 360 watts. Dimensions are 545 x 460 x 260mm WxDxH and weight is 44kg. The chassis is anodized aluminum, the output transformers are hand-crafted with M6-grade laminations. Audiophile parts include precision resistors, an Alps Blue Velvet pot, Jantzen Superior silver/gold coupling caps, silver-plated wiring and silver-contact relays. The meters show output level and bias current and the balanced line-level input uses a Lundahl input transformer.

The new Quintessence is a 4-input remote (power, input, volume, mute) dual-mono preamplifier with 1 balanced input and balanced and single-ended outputs. Input sensitivity is 0.2V RMS, frequency response 10Hz to 60kHz +/-0dB and power consumption 36 watts. Dimensions are 550 x 344 x 330mm WxDxH and weight is 25kg. The tube complement consists of 2 x ECC82/12AU7, 2 x ECC83/12AX7 and 2 x 12AZ7. The chassis is anodized aluminum, the i/o transformers for the balanced lines Lundahl issue. Audiophile parts include precision resistors, an Alps Blue Velvet pot, Jantzen Superior silver/gold coupling caps, silver-plated wiring and silver contact relays. The circuit board is gold-plated glass epoxy with 2oz. copper traces.

The new Allure is an MC/MM phono stage with RIAA CR type equalization and a 50/47K input impedance for MC and MM respectively. Power consumption 32 watts. Dimensions are 318 x 330 x 170mm WxDxH and weight is 20kg. The tube complement consists of 4 x 6DJ8. The chassis is anodized aluminum and audiophile parts include precision resistors, an attenuator for gain control, Jantzen Superior silver/gold coupling caps, silver-plated wiring, gold-plated tube sockets, WBT connectors and very large film capacitance for the regulated DC power supply. The MC step-up transformer is Lundahl issue.
